[Leaf definitely, most definitely, had steeled herself for the day. She had peeked around the realms; she had studied her dragonfly buddy; and she had spent a lot of nights just wanting to go home already. But since that obviously wasn't going to happen - and she'd been informed so - it was just... time to suck it up and talk to people, even if she might be bothering them!!

She's visiting Colossus today, and the keenest observers will notice she's broadcasting from in front of a Spring Powerup. Okay, Leaf.

I'm a little hungry. [Three different shades of red here; that isn't how she meant to start out at all!] Um-- wait, um, what I mean was -- are there... what would you suggest is the best place to get some food? I already went to, um, Idol Springs before, but the fish there didn't really settle well with me...

[Guess who ate the red ones. And guess who's stepping back, despite the fact the image'll move with her since it's with the orb; she's just used to shrinking back --

oh, but there she goes. Orb tumbling out of her hand as she rockets right up past a wall.

[Oh, glasses. She tries to remember a time she's seen him with them on, then figures it must either be too far back or it hasn't happened yet. He looks pretty good with them though... She shakes her head to clear her thoughts.]

I'm sure I'll find someplace... Or I'll just make something myself. There's nothing like a home-cooked meal! ...Or, um, something like that, I guess...

[Don't say it like that -- Leaf yanks her hat down over her eyes and and frowns.]

Mom taught me some things before I left Pallet Town, and I had to make my own food when I was [lost] in Viridian Forest and Mt. Moon... I'm not, like, really good at it, but I'm definitely passable.

[She might be a shy little girl prone to minor anxiety, but she is not gonna let her one okay attribute cooking skills be insulted.]

Okay. [That's as much of an apology as she expects from him, anyway. She fiddles with the brim of her hat, not really sure what else to say. She feels like she should though.] ...Um, have you been eating well here?

[Since she makes dinner for him when she's older, why not be concerned about his eating habits here?]

Not... really, but it's not a big deal. [Leaf sighs.] ... I haven't been sleeping a lot anyway, and there's still a lot for me to explore so I don't really need a place.
