I don't think being dropped into a lake is very much of a welcome.

[The speaker is currently soaked to the bone, apparently not having thought to go dry out before using the orb he's gotten. Thankfully, the clip in his hair is keeping most of it out of his face, drowned rat look or not, and his dragonfly is making odd little melodic tones behind him.]

So, I took a look through the Guidebook... and it seems I'm here for a specific reason. A "fixing of a magical drain" or something like that? Does anyone else have any more information on that? It's kind of vague, and I generally mucked about with cards more than anything.

[While it's true in multiple forms, Chou carefully omits the fact they were magical cards.]

...Also, somewhere I could dry off and maybe get a change of clothes would be nice too. At least until mine dry out.

That's about as much as anyone knows, I'm afraid. You might as well get comfortable in this world, because you won't be leaving any time soon.

[Daroach isn't necessarily complaining, mind you. He misses his crew, of course, but a new world means new things to steal, and he's been doing quite well for himself.]

As for your other question, perhaps Sunny Beach would be a good place to dry off? The name says it all, really. There's a clothing store in the forest, too, if you don't mind spending a few of your gems.

[Sigh! He does perk up a little at the suggestion, but...]

...Er, gems? I don't actually have any on me, I usually gave them to Azami-chan to hold onto because she traded them for us.

You don't? Hm, that's odd. I swear you were supposed to pick up at least a couple on your way in...

[He places a paw to his mouth thoughtfully.]

Well, it might be a good idea to think about finding a job. [Like you're one to talk, mister thief.] Money makes even this world go around, after all!

Well I was kind of... falling into a lake, so I might have missed them...

[Nervous laughter here! He pauses at that comment though, tilting his head a bit. ...Well.]

I guess I'll need to keep my eyes out, then. But I should probably dry off, first... where's "Sunny Beach"?

Of course, of course. Let's see...

[He goes quiet for a moment, thinking it over, then nods.]

Swim through the tunnel under the lake - your dragonfly can produce an air bubble to stop you from getting any more wet - continue through the passage, and there should be a portal.

[Oh, a newcomer. There's been several recently - Minato's grateful the Outsiders seem to have stopped forming factions. Maybe now they can get somewhere.]

I wish I could tell you we knew anything, but I'd be lying. Mostly we're waiting for something to happen so we can figure something out. [A sigh. Minato's been here for months now, and pretty much nothing has happened. It feels like the calm before the storm, though. The weather's pretty nice in most areas here, so you should dry out fine if you find a sunny patch.
