[Anyone hanging around the spring area better not be standing too close, least they get splashed on. The individual that falls out of the air and into the water looked like they had been plucked from their world in the middle of a nap… or a drunken coma, as the case may be. They certainly woke up once they hit the water though, coughing and sputtering in utter confusion as they struggled to shore.]

[The person clung to the edge of the spring once he got to it, staring around blearily, as if he didn't really know what he was looking at. Finally, he ran a hand over his face as a green dragonfly fluttered down to hover around his head.]

…if Dojima-san was looking for a new way to wake me up, he sure went overboard…

[Later on, said person appears on the orbs, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. He looks really frumpy and slouched over, not to mention completely soaked.]

M-man, and here I was worried about waking up with a hang over. I guess I should have been more worried about random splash downs.

[He pauses for a moment, trying to regain some of his dignity (not that there was much there to begin with).]

Adachi Tohru, Inaba PD. Er… anyone mind filling me in on what's going on here?

Soon, however, Naoto comes into view, having regained some semblance of composure.] I suppose the question remains as to which one you are.

[Graceful, Naoto. Adachi had to peer at the picture for a good long moment to make sure he was seeing things right, because he never heard Her do something like that before.]

Fine, fine, just-- [Please give her a moment, Adachi, she's trying to process a few things.

[Adachi let out a confused noise, but didn't press her. Besides, he was more concerned with what she had to say after that.]

Oh… oh good. [A sheepish laugh.] For a moment I was worried I'd drunk walk into a TV or somethin'.

[... After a moment or so, she switches it over to private.]

... You don't seem surprised with the idea. [It's stated, but the expression on Naoto's face gives it the weight of a question.]

[Adachi let out a snort.]

Don't you remember? You were the one telling me to be careful when I drank, until you saw how small the TV in my apartment is.

[It was a crappy little unit that only got analog channels, and would let out a high pitched whine that Adachi couldn't hear, but Teddie always complained about how beary pawful it was on his ears. He had to admit, he was mildly surprised she would forget about that awkward moment.]

... I wasn't. That was your version of me.

[A pause.] And that's not what I meant, anyway. Other worlds.

I'd be more worried about the whole new world thing than the arrival.

[…wait. Hold the limo. That voice sounded familiar... Adachi stared a moment, getting a really good look at the kid staring back at him. The hair was darker and his eyes weren't Shadow yellow, but…]

…Michael?

[He was going to try to get some information, see if that line of work was jumping through TVs and fighting monsters or anything remotely related, but... This just got quite a bit stranger.]

...Who's Michael?

[…it certainly sounded like Michael, even if the hair and eyes weren't quite right. Was it really him…?]

Ah… you prolly wouldn't believe me if I told you.

[He takes a moment to check himself, push aside the confusion and distrust. More important things right now. For all he knows it might not even be the same Inaba. He has to test.]

Try me. I'm the kind of Fool who'd believe there were twenty-five hours in a day. [His face is expressionless, so there's no telling quite how serious he's being...]

[Adachi stopped and stared, blinking in surprise. Was this guy Michael or not? He swore he remembered something about an extra hour to the day, but Igor had brought an end to that conversation quickly. After a moment, he shrugged, folding his hands behind his head.]

Eh… it'd take a Magician for something like that to happen.
